@akathrosary @sebastien_c123 er, are you alright? In your Pauline based theology, the claim is the 613 misvot laws were temporary and Jesus claimed they had now been abolished. Do you have scripture of that yes or no? Bear in mind that he says the complete OPPOSITE of this theology in Mathew 5:17

@jon_bickle @sebastien_c123 It sounds like you think the Catholic Bible is a history or science book, when it is neither. Catholics have explained that it is a translation issue, not a timing issue. But the exact day and time isn't a moral or spiritual issue, so it's not a focus.

@jon_bickle @sebastien_c123 I believe all of Scripture is the Word of God authored by God and is inerrant and infallible. You seem to think that after Jesus Ascended, the Apostles started going against His teachings or something? I did give you examples from Jesus about divorce and marriage.

If scripture is inerrant & infallible "authored by God" you are left in the invidious position of trying to reconcile the irreconcilable, or say the words contained don't actually mean what they say.

@jon_bickle @sebastien_c123 Acts 10 proves that God told St. Peter that the food laws and the laws about being separated from the Gentiles were abolished. In fact, mingling with Gentiles at all is against the Mosaic law and the Apostles did that in Scripture.

It's only Paul that says nah, Jesus told me, & thus you to forget all that stuff, 20+ years after he was dead so thus no possible challenge

Can you be good without God? Atheists often lead lives of high integrity, but the issue is the source of the rules they follow. If morality is just a human invention, then one person's opinion is as valid as another's. We need a standard that exists outside of our own preferences to say that certain things are truly wrong for everyone at all times.
