@markgoldbridge He has proven to be the man for the job. You have hired other great managers before, but they failed to deliver at United. This guy was able to use the same squad and deliver results in no time. Even if you interview other managers, Carrick should be No1 contender for that job
These Carrick getting the job rumours are ridiculous. It's a HUGE risk giving it an interim anyway. But to give it to him without even bothering to interview others is a disgrace by the board. Best in class? Exactly what they did with Ole. Nothing ever changes do the same thing
@UTDTrey#CFC manager Liam Rosenior's notes revealed 🚨⚠️
"Dear Diary,
They haven't figured out I'm Memphis Depay yet. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing here.
- Day 23 as a Manchester United Spy at Chelsea."
🚨🔵 Chelsea have been handed a £10.7m fine for breaching Premier League rules related to financial reporting, third-party investment and youth development during the Roman Abramovich era.
The club have also received an immediate 9-month academy transfer ban, plus a 1-year first-team transfer ban (suspended for two years).
The Independent Panel concluded a fine was warranted of at least £20m, but it was then reduced by 50% due to mitigating factors, including "exceptional cooperation" by Clearlake-Boehly.
It is still the largest ever fine imposed by the Premier League.
Transfers involving Eden Hazard, Samuel Eto'o, Willian, David Luiz, Ramires, Andre Schurrle, Nemanja Matić, Piet de Visser and Frank Arnesen are all cited. Five other deals formed part of the investigation but are redacted in the published report.
Lemme explain this sanction to you like a 5yrs old kid.
Penalty in plain English:
- Pay £10.75m fine (about $13.7m).
- Youth academy can't sign new players for 9 months.
- Senior team has a 1-year transfer ban, but it's frozen/suspended for 2 years—if Chelsea stays clean, it never happens; if they slip again soon, it activates.
Basically a fine + short youth block, with a warning for the big team.
🚨 Tottenham Hotspur actively working on candidates to replace Igor Tudor if decision taken to make another head coach change after Liverpool trip. Unclear whether would be interim again or longer-term appointment but #THFC exploring options @TheAthleticFCnytimes.com/athletic/71164…
Magic of the Cup? Literally switched it off! Nothing wrong with Garnacho at all, doing more rolls than a bakery. Yellow card and let a good game continue. Another game ruined by dickheads in the VAR room
@SkySportsPL Hell no, whoever said that is clearly a rivals fan trolling. No way any united fan would say Southgate anywhere near this club. Has to be trolling refuse to believe anything else 😂
"I think Gareth Southgate would make a good interim manager at Manchester United..."
The Sky Sports studio reacts to fan voice notes on who could be next in the Man United dugout 😮
@JoeSolskjaer@sistoney67@ManUtd Because it is... We've played shit for the last 4 or 5 games and got lucky. The last 3 games the opponent has had 10 men. We've played 33 games to Newcastles 46 and we're dead. Carrick reduced the training and gives them all holidays to dubai. Weve been riding the lucky train
