@HMRCcustomers I have some funds in an offshore mutual fund ISIN: INF740K01318 Is this a non-reporting fund? I think that means that I do not need to include it on my tax return until I dispose of it, at which point the disposal gain will be treated as offshore income Is that correct?

It was great to see so many familiar and new faces in the PyBaMM Developer Training event hosted at @OxUniMaths! The training focussed on how to build new models and incorporate them into PyBaMM, with a strong hands-on component.

It is often impossible to write exact mathematical expressions to describe extremely complex natural systems, but our next awardee, Dr Christopher Lustri (@Sydney_Uni), is able to unpack some of these ideas without relying on massive simulations.

@fasc1nate I see a typo immediately: it should be 1=A+2y-y^2(1-A) of course

@fasc1nate For any intercept, the whole is the sum of the blue, plus four large triangles, minus the four small triangles in the corner which have been double counted. These last four are the hardest to calculate, but putting them together gives a scaled version of the original problem.
