@BendelowGreens Back 9 at Ellis had some great holes. Didn't know it was Langford, but I can see it.

Played Ellis Park Golf in Cedar Rapids for the first time in 10 years at least. Great city course, very well taken care of. Super sad tho, the old back 9 is mostly gone! That had some great holes and I believe was originally designed by Langford. How does anyone let that happen 🤯🥲

Within four days we have 6 green expansions cored, 3 green and bunker complexes rough shaped and slit drainage going in on greens. Great start to the project and have all day tomorrow to keep it moving!

It’s a no brainer deal if you are from DM or Ames area. For what it costs to play Blank or Coldwater every weekend you would cut your costs in half by joining Elmwood. It’s not busy, great place to hang, and waaaaaay better golf course than what they get for a non-resident membership. A top course in the state no doubt.

To expand upon this - Elmwood currently has a great “Out of Town” membership deal. Less than an hour from Des Moines. It’s a great “home away from home” option if your course is busy or you need a change of scenery. The staff and members are great people as well! ⛳️🏌🏼‍♂️😎
