@MinnesotaMillea Why is Justin Gaard not calling play by play. He was fantastic during the girls state tournament?

Looking forward to KSTC Channel 45 coverage of boys state basketball semifinals and finals, with Dave Lee on play-by-play along with analysts Spencer Tollackson and Troy Bell, and Chris Long, Lea B. Olsen and Alec Ausmus handling pregame, halftime and postgame duties.

Been a rough couple weeks in our household losing two family members unexpectedly. I’ll miss my uncle Dan. We laughed every time we were together. So many great memories together since I was a little kid. Wish I was able to say goodbye. ❤️ obituaries.startribune.com/obituary/dan-g…

11. Offensive rebound. 12. Continuity and flow. This helps all players.

5. If a player posts up, they must be a good passer. 6. Cut from corners or from up top on post entries. 7. Utilize your post high and cut off of them. Let slashers have some freedom. 8. Make open jump shots. 9. Make free throws. 10. Two to one assist to turnover ratio.

2. All screen for one another. Selfish if you don’t 3. Ball can’t stick in a player’s hands. Share the ball and the juices that come with it. 4. Utilize ball screens for more than the guard handling the ball. Must be able to see the slip, throwback and pocket pass.

I have watched my share of D1, D2 and D3 basketball this season. Teams that are good offensively do these things well… 1. Get early transition baskets. The ball moves faster by passing it than dribbling it. Reward those players that run the floor.
