@jonatanbien ישבתי לראות את ההרצאה, רק כדי לנצח בדיון, ואני שמח לבשר שאכן ניצחתי, ההרצאה לא מוכיחה את מה שאתה חושב שהיא מוכיחה, היא רק מוכיחה שלסרלז לjson וחזרה זה איטי, ושחוץ מזה כל דבר אחר שיתבצע בצד של הjs איטי יותר מאשר אם היה מתבצע בצד של הראסט. תודה שבאת לטד טאלק שלי.

זה מאוד מרשים וזה משהו שנראה יותר ויותר בעיניי: שכתובים של ספריות פופולריות בשפות low level memory safe.
שכתובים גם Zig וגם Rust (ובעיקר בRust) הולכים להחליף כל ספריה שכתובה בשפה אחרת.

מאנדיי חשפה לפני כמה ימים שהיא עכשיו תאפשר לסוכנים לעשות שימוש בפלטפורמה שלה לצד בני האדם. מה שטוב בזה הוא שעכשיו אפשר להגדיר יישות חדשה של סוכן ולעקוב אחרי הפעולות שלה ולתת לה תפקידים מוגדרים (זה לא פשוט מוצג כאילו אתה עושה את זה).

@RitikShilp80441 @benthompson on your local device, yeah… you don’t need the entire 1M for presenting the start screen, but normal WhatsApp user would be north of that, and they do plenty SQLite magic to make it quick
however, running that on web browser and making it responsive, it is harsh

This Mac app bug is one of the single most enraging bugs I've encountered in years! It's in all of the betas too. You get someone's @ mention randomly added to the chat when you press "Enter" and you have to click to get rid of it (and then it will come back on the next message).

Mac app: if you @-mention someone in a group chat, the @-mention is just permanently stuck in the UI and enters itself into the chat if you press Enter iPhone app: tweets only unfurl at half-height, making them unreadable. Mac bug debilitating.

App Store review approved it and for 9 hours in 2021 everyone who downloaded Snapchat from the App Store had an app which won’t run

Our cracked team just used Software Factory to rebuild and replace Jira in a little more than a month. We first spent 3.5 weeks planning. This is Software Factory’s superpower. It allowed our lead PM, Designer and Architect to thoughtfully describe and detail exactly what they wanted. Software Factory then did the heavy lifting in filling in the blanks and allowing our senior tech folks to sharpen the direction of what they wanted.
