Always gonna be a hard sell to claim you’ve ‘spent well’ when you’ve spent £270m and only accumulated 17 wins over two seasons. They’ve spent 10 times more money than we have for little more output. They should be comfortable in mid-table with that expenditure v other Premier League teams.

How badly have #NFFC spent their money? I've put together a little table here (values from Transfermarkt in GBP) and I think we've done well. 36 total signings, 15 were bonafide poor decisions but crucially they only amount to ~23% of the money spent.
