@TortosaExpat I’ve always thought 3rd place ought to be straight to Wembley. 6th play away to 5th, winner plays away to 4th. Leaving the winner playing 3rd place in the final.

I'd go the other way, less not more games. 3rd v 6th and 4th v 5th one leg only played at grounds of 3rd and 4th and winners meet at Wembley a week earlier.
