If someone asks you “what’s your backend?” and your answer is “Postgres”, I’m sorry to have to tell you but you have no idea what a backend is.

@ilyatulvio I think what made it was: - slow cooked mince, well reduced, using a high fat mince - large quantity of béchamel made with whole milk - construct day before and leave in fridge overnight There is also a huge smug feeling from having a ready-to-go lasagne in the fridge 😊

@thdxr Experience tells me developers are generally awful at judging the value of a thing and also awful at estimating how hard it would be to build said thing themselves.

a lot of people look at the replicache page and see there's pricing and churn right there before trying it i understand there's psychology to this - there's an expectation to not pay for libraries if you're one of these people can you explain your mindset more?

@cnakazawa Started on Elden Ring which might have been a bad choice for a newbie gamer as just spent most of the time dying. Switched to Final Fantasy VII Remake and that has been wonderful and really fun. Also been playing It Takes Two with my partner which is very cute.

@thdxr One or three are good I think. One if you are doing other stuff concurrently and coordinating with channels, three if you just want to get updates on the blocking process.

in go which kind of api is more standard?

@danielcroe Restarting VSCode fixes the issue, but that's quite annoying vs. just restarting the language server from the command palette.

@danielcroe Nope in a main.test.ts file - TS language server seems to have totally died - no types, can't cmd+click through to definitions etc...

The "Restart TS server" command in my VSCode has disappeared... anyone else experiencing this?
