@based_coach1 If you can’t skip or jump without being taught then you aren’t athletic. Not everyone is athletic. Thats ok. Not everyone is meant to play sports. No amount of coaching will turn a kid into an athlete if he/she lacks basic athleticism

If you put your kid in this “training” at 7yo it is nothing more than a fancy daycare At 7-14yo your kid doesn’t need training or to specialize in a sport. They need to be a kid. Play multiple sports. Play pickup sports with their friends outside. Not every waking moment needs to be scheduled for kids. If you disagree with me then go listen to all the pro athletes who say the same thing

I train kids from every sport imaginable. They all train as “athletes” If a 7-14 year old gets more athletic - they’ll get better at their sport.

Had a parent reach out about speed training for their 5 year old. No negative toward him at all. Parents want the best for their child! No ridicule either. Educate. You want parents who know good training from bad?? Teachable moments! I know 8-9 still young but…parents only gonna wait so long and if he wants to pay someone, he will. Better to be someone who has a grasp on how to work with kids at that age. Proud of this particular Dad and hope we work together…in 4-6 years!! @JeremyFrisch @Joe_Eisenmann

@jondavisfit IG post…what this type of training should look like. With a qualified professional who has a level of knowledge about how the human body works and how the relationship with the ground should look like…a professional doing his job well!! Most of the stuff we are seeing is some dude at a park calling himself a “trainer” and putting receivers and DB’s through totally pointless stuff that doesn’t transfer to the sport. #HomeTownHeroSyndrome

Woman recorded a man at the gym after being upset with him for using the machine next to her instead of choosing a different one, stating, “Men are insufferable.”
