@itsfickybaby HIGHLY recommend the book as well. One of the best reads for me in the past decade.

Yeah if a guy like Mike Evans was the plan, I'd have preferred we just keep DJ Moore. We want someone to complement Rome and Luther, not someone who, as great as Evans is, will demand a large chunk of targets to justify his salary. He's going to want more than we should be giving a player of his age/upside

@LeVeonBell @peanuttillman should be on this list. You can’t watch a game or a highlight package without hearing a reference to the “Peanut Punch” 🥜 🥊

THE FIVE MOST INFLUENTIAL PLAYERS IN #NFL FOOTBALL HISTORY: 1) Odell Beckham Jr. 2) Tom Brady 3) Deion Sanders 4) Cam Newton 5) Jerry Rice Do you agree with this…?

@Ryon_JAMBALYAA @NFLDraftBites I’d love to see him back in the bears in a depth role for cheap too but that’s the issue - he’s gonna command starter money and his turnover impact will regress

If you draft Peterson over Boozer you are an absolute crazy person. This is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen in college basketball

@AaronLemingNFL his drafts have been pretty brutal. Combine that with the fact that the QB they let walk is about to play for a Ring after leading them to their best season in 20 years and I can't fathom why it took this long...

Hot take: this is actually the perfect Christmas slate. Unlike Thanksgiving, a holiday built around food and Football, it’s always a little harder to focus your attention on the games when they happen on Christmas. So I’d rather keep the slop for Thursday, enjoy the time with family, and then get down to business with the best games falling on the weekend

The NFL Christmas schedule for Thursday includes four teams that have already been eliminated from playoff contention, and there’s a scenario where three of the starting QBs could be Josh Johnson (#Commanders), Max Brosmer (#Vikings), and Chris Oladokun (#Chiefs).

I've said that for me, Philip Rivers coming back feels like my favorite band doing a too-late reunion tour that might be a mess. But against the Seahawks, it's more like they're doing the show with a bunch of live wolves on stage.

Those upset about it are exhibiting what we call “loser talk”. They’re looking at it from the perspective of “if we don’t score on this drive”, while the correct perspective is what the team actually did - “we need to score and leave as little time as possible for them to get a FG off”

Was admittedly surprised by how much clock management consternation existed among some Bears fans from yesterday's final drive. Today, Ben Johnson gave his group an A+, saying they handled the time on that possession beautifully. "I don’t know a better way to do it to be honest with you." "The first thing we needed to do was score a touchdown. But the last thing we wanted to do as well was give them enough time to respond because of how dangerous they had been on offense. Best-case scenario would have been scoring a touchdown with under 30 seconds there and then letting our defense go out and hold down the fort at the very end to win the game. But we didn't make enough plays there on that last drive to earn that right."
