We can joke all we like, but the truth is that Palios isn’t the man he thinks he is. Football moved on & he fell behind. Yet the “I know best” attitude remained. Tranmere Rovers have paid the price for that delusion. The gradual decline, whilst costs rose are embarrassing.

This performance and goal at Southend during covid always sticks in my mind. The football we played under Keith Hill and we couldn't be there to see it. Salt and Pepper, rock and roll football! 5 years ago today.

This happens more often than people might think. Quite a few ex-EPL players/types have said over the years that the A-League is often on TV screens at training grounds in the morning… only football on at that time, really. To be a fly on those walls lol

M Palios has said the takeover of #TRFC is "imminent" & he has "had a chat with potential new owners today as we want to be in a position where we can plan properly for next season".
Added he believes "It is practical for me to remain to hand over as I've got a transition plan".

The club has been neglected & left to fend for ourselves. It is absolutely criminal. Crosby is awful and needs removed. But what next? The root cause is the owner. He is an absolute stain on our club & has been for years. We're going down & nobody wants to stop it. Pure neglect.
