I get the frustration in the #CROfam—$CRO hasn't pumped like we hoped yet. But @kris is spot on: integrating enterprise-wide AI is the move. Companies that don't pivot fast will get left behind, and Crypto.com is stepping up big time.
Almost every major player is racing into AI— this positions us ahead, not chasing.
Yes, no one saw the ongoing war or the Clarity Act delays coming, but that just means more time to accumulate at these levels. Kris is pushing $CRO hard, and this AI shift is fuel for massive long-term growth.

We are joining the list of companies integrating enterprise-wide AI. Companies that do not make this pivot immediately will fail. Companies that move slowly will be left behind. Companies that move immediately and pair the best AI tools with top-performers will achieve a level of scale and precision that was previously impossible. This is where we must go. As part of this step, we have also made a targeted ~12% workforce reduction of roles that do not adapt in our new world. All impacted team members have been notified and are receiving resources to support their transition. We are deeply grateful for the contributions our departing colleagues have made. This new foundation sets us up for continued success.

The market may not reward it immediately, but the long-term direction makes a lot of sense.

@jongarcia21 @kris If I knew i was employing 1000 people and will have to layoff 120 out of those soon, I would think twice before spending $100 mil on a product that doesn't work. (Yeah positioning for the future and blah blah blah, we will see....)

NEW: Crypto . com is cutting ~12% of its workforce as part of a major AI-driven restructuring, according to CEO Kris Marszalek.
The move comes just one month after Marszalek reportedly spent $70M to acquire the domain ai . com.
Marszalek said roles that do not adapt to an AI-first world are being phased out, warning that companies that fail to adopt AI “will fail,” while slow movers will be left behind.
He added that firms pairing top AI tools with high-performing talent will unlock unprecedented scale and precision.
Affected employees have been notified and will receive transition support.
