Submitted to Play Store + App Store vibe coded budget app using react + capacitor(app packaging) android worked fine and easy, but iOS was tricky

@edgars_xx Completely agree! But when I interview people showing them my app and found out that whole tab or feature was not neccessary, ouch it hurts 🤣 Now I validate app in person to see if I really keep certain features

Crazy how much overhead there is to make your app user-ready. I pretty much spent the last 1-2 months polishing things, refactoring parts, and nothing new was added; just fixing all the little things that were not done in the prototype phase.

Any @lovable fans? I don't subscribe yet, but I would happily give money if I need more credits. 1. I could export codes so that I could work on Cursor. FOR FREE!!!!!! 2. For reason No.1, I'm a fan. It is just not giving "GIVE ME YOUR MONEY" vibe unlike 99% other SaaS

I was not so creative; when I judge on myself But being a soloprenuer with 0 revenue for 6 months, I think I'm evolving. I look at things more positively now I tried listening to podcast at my home garden where I don't really set my foot on and I am so happy and relaxed

I was trying the usual things Reddit, Facebook, Twitter, non-paid, it was absolute waste of time. I like your approach of asking just random people in the real world. I will probably try it as well, but at the moment, my product is a Chrome extension it would be hard to find people at random to install it; it would be much better when you have a mobile app

Building language learning app solo for 2 months doing: 1. Build/update the prototype 2. Interview a potential user with the prototype 3. Ask if they would pay for it 4. Repeat 1-3

@edgars_xx How do you approach people or do marketing? I go on foot and ask in person getting immediate feedback. Friends living nearby are the best ones I found

@jongseo729 Can’t get people interested to try it even for free, currently it is only a Chrome extension maybe that is a problem mobile maybe would easier to get people onboard

Day 182 of Solopreneur & Musician challenge - Coding on a bench in Seoul ✅️ - Soundcheck for the gig this month - Busking at Myeongdong - 2nd Online meeting with @pseudokid ! Still got $0 net worth, But the life gets more fun, really

- Unexpected night out in Seoul - Wakes up - get a coffee and work on a random bench

I did so much today (it's past midnight, still heading home) -replied emails -did retrospect on lu-music.com -open mic -edited reels(at a bus stop, missed one, waited for 40m) -got a deal with a producer -went to another city for meeting potential user for my next app

Day 3 of the 5th business idea. I went to a meetup event in Seoul to meet potential users, explained the idea and the pricing, all 3 of them said NO I will ask 8 more people(or group) in the next 7 days and if any ONE of them gives me the money, I will stsrt building the app.

@pseudokid Yeah bots are kinda insane. I DON'T like the things people do ONLY for money... it could be something fun or viral but bots are not my thing and they are harm to the society

@jongseo729 Yes, totally agree man. I believe it starts with building rapport, and knowing the needs of both parties so expectations are clearly set. But now it's more on building friends which makes it more natural because it's the companionship that connects people. Sounds like X lol

Asking solopreneurs: how do you find interviewees? If you come up with an idea, don't you ask someone who might be interested? How do you find them? Would you use a platform to find potential customers to ask/test out your idea

@pseudokid Hmm that makes sense, but what if you want to talk deeper with a person? Like exchange few comments doesn't seem sufficient to me. Aha then I could ask for personal chat/call.. that makes sense

@jongseo729 reddit and x are best in the game right now in terms of inducing *meaningful* discussions, without it looking like staged (like platforms that pay people to give feedback to a project) and networking is the other way to get insider knowledge

im a heavy o3 user back in March, and it's very good in dissecting problems that claude 3.7 and gemini 2.5 can't very good in thinking outside the box claude 4 is also good in that regard, so i might switch o3 and claude 4 these days

had o3 as my 3rd backup model for months now (had claude and gemini over it) given these updates, i might use it as my main pretty soon
