I said goodbye to my two lovely student teachers today. It’s been a pleasure to watch them grow in confidence in my class during their placement. At times when I’ve felt like giving up on the profession these little gestures pick me up again!🥰❤️

I was diagnosed with epilepsy as a young adult. I’ve been seizure-free for several years, but I often think about the journey it has taken to get to this place and many that are at the beginning of that journey now. Today is Purple Day for @epilepsysociety , and I’m wearing my purple ribbon. Epilepsy affects many, but the wider effects are not commonly understood. So there’s more we can do to spread awareness and stand up to seizures. 💜
