April Recap: 7 months back into trading Total April: $1.4k Total 7 month profit: $12.3k Biotechs in April were pretty decent $ZNTL $ORKA and $ALLO really paid. I've been working on an approach to really find value in a company and these three were great results from the system. No massive mistakes, just still struggling from war environment. Looking into semi-conductors as a second industry to get to know for long trades. Lot of losses from puts or shorting. Many puts expiring now which I put on weeks before. I need to reduce these as they dampened the month a lot. Ultimately war economy is hard to trade for me. A lot of gold and silver trades took a real beaten - another area im slowly moving into. Main area: Biotechs Secondary: Semi-conductors and metals. Goal is a $20k year. We seem on target.

I think immigration can suppress wages in some low-skill sectors, but it’s clearly not the full explanation for wealth inequality. Countries like Switzerland, Singapore, and Australia all have high immigration, low unemployment, and higher wages than the UK because productivity and innovation matter more than just labour supply. The bigger driver of inequality was probably QE and asset inflation (covid disaster for making rich richer), where asset owners benefited massively while wages lagged behind. The UK is fucked coz it hasn't innovated in years and has no booming sectors. I blame us not some fish and chip shop workers.
