@bourgeo3 @NBA I agree, but we're in an "entertainment and production" world, PB. It's not about the core act anymore - it's about all the hoopla around it. Look at the Grammys. Not about the music, it's about how many dancers you can put on stage. #oldmangripes

My @NBA All-Star Weekend thoughts: - Rising Stars game sucks. Get rid of it. - The Skills Challenge sucks. Get rid of it. - 3 Point Contest - good as is. - Dunk Contest - If a G League guy was needed to save it, then bring in other online dunkers OR make actual NBA stars compete. - All-Star game itself was just ok. While there was actual effort and some defense for the first time in years, it shouldn’t have taken adding non-stars to the mix to make that happen. - Less is more. Get rid of the cringe comedic acts and terrible music performances.

Greg Kampe on his show: Was listening to the radio in a bad mood on his way to practice. Heard that Journey never had a number 1 song. Made him realize how hard it is win and reach the mountain top. Told his team you don’t luck into winning, you have to deserve it. Great story
