I've been having a better time on Blue Sky, than on this hell site so I haven't been checking in. However, it seemed important to note that four years ago a deranged maniac tried to overthrow the government & we just re-elected him president, instead of putting him in jail.

@Nick_BPSS Since 2004 the Yankees have 16/20 years in the playoffs. 7/20 ALCS appearances 2/20 WS appearances. 1 WS win. I would kill for that lifetime of baseball.

I hate that I feel like I have to say this since I try to keep my Twitter fairly un-political but all of you should register and go vote. I don't care what state you're in, how unlikely it is to flip, or how much you personally dislike the candidate. Just go vote.

@ChiSoxFanMike Assuming you're actually asking, the Royals built up a decent core of young players who can hit and defend decently. Then they supplemented in the offseason by actually signing FA's from their biggest need, SP.

Why is it that the White Sox tried to copy everything the Royals do, yet the Royals are going to the ALDS and the White Sox lost 121 games. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN. HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL.

@AlyssaBergamini Arguably more than any other sport in this country, baseball is a game of history and record keeping. Why would you shame fans who were interested in being present for that? It's not their fault the team sucks.

I just don't think it's crazy to think he's in the room reading scouting reports, watching tape, and offering his two cents. In fact, why wouldn't he be?

@ChiSox158 You're not wrong, but ultimately it's one stop. Plus, this was a Black sorority event that she was addressing. All those folks have connections throughout the country, not just in Texas. They flew in for a conference so she's probably counting on them pumping her up elsewhere.

@ChiSox158 I disagree. I don't think she has a chance to win Texas, but I also don't think Texas is out of play in the very near future. Check out 2020 - Donald Trump won by ~500K votes. Compare that to CA, where Biden won by 5M votes. You'd hate to skip it and find out you lost narrowly.
