@JBaume @theterriersfan Completely agree with this. I thought the questions asked by town fans were well thought out. It was myself who asked the question about social media and was impressed with the response from DTS, and had a good open follow up conversation about this too.

@theterriersfan It does, I was fearing the worst, and thought that it might turn quite toxic, but all 4 spoke a lot of sense, and I think everyone related to them. Even the question on Nagle on social media got a well constructed answer from DTS

Btw, that Q&A was top. Some real talk about what fans and the "important ones" think. Real good connection between Stead and Drury, some top banter between the two, you can literally see the chemistry between them. I honestly do think they can do a brilliant job in charge. Think the fabs can also connect with them in terms of their feeling towards the club and what it needs, for there to be 4 Huddersfield lads and fans on the stage tonight at this level of football, which not many other clubs can say, made me personally really proud and confident in knowing their fighting for us. #htafc

Feel really optimistic and positive following the Q and A down at the stadium. All parties are clearly invested and shirked no questions. The top figures within the club most importantly seem like good, honest people. A lot to feel positive about going into preseason #htafc

@petronious My point exactly. And that’s how it should be. He was the DoF at the time. People should be competent at their jobs. Players, coaches, comms from the club/its advisors should all be more competent. KN shouldn’t have been in a position where he had to hire Grant.

I can’t understand the attacks towards Nagle on here. Yes, has not got everything right in his time at Town, and has been guilty of shooting himself in the foot on more than one occasion. But the footballing side of the club had been failing long before Nagle took ownership.

@petronious Warnock was a poor example from myself in all fairness. But again, we were no great shakes so I disagree that he would have certainly kept us up, but I agree we’d have had a better chance. Ultimately he was a short term fix then he was advised that DM was the next best thing

@jonnie_beee Warnock was replaced by Moore and not sacked. Warnock would have kept us up and the general consensus seems to be KN didn’t like comments made by Warnock about him, hence him leaving. I would seriously have Wiegman rather than Grant if that was the only option

@petronious I get that as well, but Duff was tested, Warnock tested, AB tested. He’s probably seen CD work at Brum and thought it would be a good idea as I’d say there is not the same market for managers as there once was - no ‘sure fire’ choice anymore

@jonnie_beee Absolutely and yet KN sold the idea of promotion not once but twice and yet here we still are. This year they did all the right things with player recruitment only to waste it all on an untested, intransigent and tactically inept coach and coaching staff.

@cattanach1974 Done club media through the channels. He is trying to get it right, but Town fans have long memories and don’t forget mistakes. He has to learn and accept that, and get advice from someone who understands what fans want. We want open honesty, not big-chested claims.

@cattanach1974 Again, his PR ‘advisor’ has been poor for him. Fans said they wanted engagement - he provided engagement. When the engagement wasn’t what they wanted, he got it in the neck. His engagement has been poor, but has improved this season. No more 3am Zoom diaries, but professionally

@KelvinNangleOut The only season in the last 8 that we hadn’t been fighting off relegation though. Will always struggle to criticise Hoyle, but the lack of investment after that Wembley trip arguably started the downfall causing CC to leave. We stayed up that season by a miracle.

@TheTwatOfHTAFC Absolutely, accountability is massive and he should be open to criticism as well as praise. Hes not destroying the club as people make him out to be, but making poor/ill advised decisions

@TheTwatOfHTAFC @BrimfulOfAshia Edward’s ran the USL for many years so had a good league track record, but again this has not transferred into the English game. Again, JE has done well with the stadium and academy side, but most important thing is the product on the pitch unfortunately.

harry kane fan (i hate this club with a passion
@BrimfulOfAshia @jonnie_beee I'm guessing that Edwards is an advisor to Kevin because of his high role and the fact he's played professional football before Also, it holds water when you consider that he is the man who has overseen failure for 3 years straight, yet is still in such an important role at Town

@Heffingdream44 @_Terrier_Jack I would agree with Edward’s - very experienced in terms of leadership/the American leagues, but the EFL is significantly more challenging. I’m not having DTS as being an issue, he is a town fan and I am sure he does everything with the best intentions for the club

@jonnie_beee @_Terrier_Jack I’m with you. Nagle is potentially great for the Club but it’s the people who run it day to day that are advising him. I’ve heard it’s JE and DTS. What I know of them both they are out of their depth and in it for themselves.

@_Terrier_Jack Hard to say if it’s Edward’s or him who makes those calls. Players brought in have under performed/been under coached. He hires the people to run that side of things unfortunately mate🤷🏽‍♂️

@_Terrier_Jack 1st appointments and then the advice they have given. Allowed himself to be convinced that Moore was the one. Then trusted JE and MC to rebuild in League 1. Not enough turnover in the squad, damage done by the time Jan ended last year. MC kept too long, wrong appointment in LG.

@_Terrier_Jack I’m convinced if he hires the right management structure and stepped back it would work 10x better. Believe he’s taken the first steps in Markham.

@_Terrier_Jack Yeah get that, like I said he does shoot himself in the foot more often than not. But he is not making these decisions alone and listens to those around him. A lot of the damage done for him has been done by others. Take his PR for eg, advised by someone who doesn’t know UK fans

@_Terrier_Jack Is he running it or is it those who he has put in place? He is providing the funds, but there is a leadership team in place who are advising/running this. Seemingly competent people, who don’t understand/ comprehend the issues. That’s what needs to change, not the man finding it

@jonnie_beee All the money in the world and no clue how to run a football club. We’ve had 2 seasons in a row of failure under Nagle, and this is looking like another. Sheffield Wednesday are literally in administration and are getting bids. Someone will buy us if he puts up.

Just as before Hoyle, there is not an abundance of wealthy people willing to throw money into Huddersfield, let alone the football club. Businesses are all running away from the town, yet he wants to invest in the town and the club. I want that to continue personally! #htafc

Town fans are no mugs, we can all see the issues on the pitch. I firmly believe this season can be salvaged, but time is running out. I don’t want Nagle to walk away from the club, but I do want him to consider who he is allowing/emplyoing to advise him.
