@chloerobinsondj Depends on the situation, if you play loads of forthcoming and new music, share and show love to the artists you are supporting, but if you are a deep digger like in the hip hop world, playing old unearthed breaks and shit , hold that shit close.

@ayeejuju The industry saw the popularity of a very dry / awkward female interviewer in the shape of amelia dimoldenberg and tried to create a US version, however she lacked the charm and British awkwardness of Amelia. It was a blatant copy and obvious plant and people are not dumb

@eli1ah Couldn’t agree more, I much more enjoy making music and photography now that I have no financial responsibility to earn money from it. It’s liberating

The reason I tell people making art that have no desire to be global pop stars to get jobs / other work is so you have some sort of secure base that allows you to create what you want, even if it's less of it, and slower. Full time (broke/miserable) artist isn't the one.
