@davecoveney @mpclark The good old days eh Dave... I remember those simpler and happier times. Thank goodness I'm not a dev anymore (the Internet rejoices, I leave it to the pros I work with now!)

@jonnyauk @mpclark Me too. It's what got me in. So we're all in at around the one millionth user mark. I miss those days when WP seemed more innocent, and politics less insane.

@tomwillmot Reasonable 5G service in area (bought new sim and physically tested at house we like!) - looked into Starlink, thats my (expensive!) backup plan!!

@jonnyauk Nice! I’m on Starlink which is working great (I could only get 4g otherwise, 5g may be better)

I'm escaping to the country, tired of city life now... all DIY jobs complete and house going up for sale this week.

@tomwillmot Found our spot in Herefordshire, broadband is a bit of a challenge though compared to my Virgin Fibre... currently investigating 5G roof antennas to boost signal!

I see the BBC News app has been updated. Great, now I've got no news category filters - feels like pretty basic UX fail for a news platform? Logo animation is nice though I guess.

It's generates 3 versions each time, and you have a palette to switch between them at any time or generate more - it's cool!

Found a real use for #ChatGPT - Google sheets app scripts! It's pretty good if you instruct it using a coders workflow - start off with a simple function and extend+amend rather than try todo everything in 1 instruction. Needs a bit of help, but wow - it ain't bad!

Multi monitor support on M1 Macbooks is embarrassing for a professional laptop - it supports 1 🙄 Looks like I need a hub that supports DisplayLink - minimum 2 x 4k monitors at 60Hz - eyeing up a Dell D6000 - any smarter suggestions/ideas please? 🙏

@virginmedia It's genuine unless you have some very well-meaning hackers! It's come from ResolutionsTeam@virginmedia.co.uk - and is a follow-up to an going support ticket (with ref). All in hand, a fix by Friday; but honestly, I urge you to review your customer support templates x
