@alomshaha Research has debunked visual, kinaesthetic, aural learning styles. This article doesn't seem to be talking about that. It suggests that some learners, particularly neurodivergent ones, don't get on with pedagogy that favours memory and abstraction. Plenty of evidence for that!

This is a wonderful book. Not only will I be using it to plan my science lessons, I'm putting it on the KCL PGCE course reading list too. A much needed guide to an under-researched area. Thanks @jane_essex

I am lucky to have been sent a copy of @alomshaha’s great new @HodderBooks book, ‘Why Don’t Things Fall Up?’

So far, I have read the first chapter which addresses the title question, ‘Why don’t things fall up?’ The chapter is a lovely example of how to skilfully construct an explanation, pitched at the optimum level of simplification for young learners.
