@WhateverTIS @TrollFootball The term "football" came first from Association Football, which the british people shortened it to "Assoc" in the 19th century then it was shortened to "soccer" but the term Football came first, which is what it's mostly used in england today, so do your research right.

@TrollFootball To be fair, americans adopted the soccer term from England. Their "football" still makes absolutely no sense though, so that's on brand.
