In partnership with @SWBTS and @acbc, Yorktown Baptist Church is hosting The Church as the Culture of Care Conference on April 18. We will address what it means to cultivate a church family that bears burdens faithfully, speaks truth in love, and walks alongside one another through life’s most difficult seasons. If you know someone in the South Texas region, they can register here. Lunch is provided along with a FREE copy of Dr. Johnson's book, The Church as the Culture of Care.

Because the integrationist model is no longer seen in a positive light while Biblical Counseling is gaining traction. It’s called marketing.
And for those who say those who hold the traditional view don’t have the “right” to determine what is BC or not. They should do research on Dr John Babler. If any SBC professor has a say. It’s him.

Dr. Tan is a true scholar with a brilliant mind. To claim that she has gotten where she is because she is female or Asian is sinful and ignorant. Read her book. Listen to her lectures. She has earned the right to be heard. You might not like her arguments... but don't slander her if you can't respond. biblicalcounseling.com/product/the-ne…

Great stuff from Dr. @matt_mccraney Working with autistic families is hard but one of the most rewarding counseling people groups I’ve worked with over the years.

My article, “A plea to biblical counselors regarding autism” was the second most read blog at BCC this year. I specifically avoided naming names in hopes people would quietly rethink their statements and adjust course. I hope that was the case. biblicalcounselingcoalition.org/2025/12/29/top…

"In this upcoming season of Christmas, we will give gifts in honor of Christ’s giving of Himself, but the best gift we can give back to Him is a humble heart —one that is, like His, completely yielded to the power and will of God."

"Never turn down an AA request.” ...That simple ethic challenged me years ago, and I adopted my own version: If there’s an opportunity to proclaim the gospel of Christ, I will be there.
