I’m proud to announce that I have signed my first professional contract as a part-time Data Analyst with the Montreal Roses, in the Northern Super League, for the 2026 season. It also officially makes me the youngest professional data analyst in North American football.

I would like to clarify something regarding our new company, Wizard: All founding members will receive a cloak, staff, and sword upon joining. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Some surreal 10's I've been worshiping this idea since the summer, always had it in the back of my head and finally got around to executing it. Had a lot of fun putting these together by illustrating the players and photo manipulating the backgrounds.

Anthropic says that everything is fine. Yet I've been getting consistent API errors. Anyone else seeing issues?

finally organized the experiments i worked on so far into a proper gallery wall. something satisfying about seeing all the experiments in one place. each one started as "what if this familiar thing had a visual dimension it doesn't usually get?"

if you divide a sphere into even sections, then cut the sphere in the middle and rotate each half in opposite directions, you end up with some pretty interesting ball constructions

it's an elaborate process for a bit of whimsy full pipeline: * 10 videos are generated to create 10 different emotions (minimax/video-01) * 10 frames are pulled from each of the videos * (manual step) I pick the best frames from each emotion * the chosen frames are used to generate a 9x9 sprite sheet that rotates the head in every direction (fofr/expression-editor)

As software gets easier to make, the products that stand out will be the ones crafted with uncommon care. If that's the kind of work you want to do, I'm sharing everything I know: interfacecraft.dev

@jon Opus is so good. Are you using just Claude or Claude Code?

I've completely bought into the Opus 4.5 hype. I've never been very technical. I've hacked on projects here and there, but for any serious project I want to launch I'm looking for a co-founder or hiring someone. For someone of my technical skill level Opus 4.5 has been a breakthrough. I've played with all the other frontier models and built cool little projects here and there, but very quickly I'll hit a wall I can't get past, and the code gets to a point where it's unmanageable, prompts stop working well, and I give up. Opus 4.5 isn't perfect, and it will ofc still make mistakes here and there, but it's the first model that (so far) has been able to get me past any little issue that has come up through iterative prompting. At least for me, it's a true inflection point. I can now actually get the ideas out of my head and into the world. In a fraction of the time + money + effort. It's blowing my mind. We're living in a different world now.

opus 4.5 and codex 5.2 are causing mass psychosis on the TL right now where people are sharing and being shocked by the _performance of work_ rather than the _evidence of value being shipped to real users_. this will self-correct in 4-6 weeks. same thing happened with other generational model releases like sonnet 4 and 3.5. The gains are real but you're currently at the peak of the hype cycle rather than the plateau of productivity.

I expect the web to become a lot more whimsical in 2026. Cost of personalization is plummeting with AI. Your wildest dreams and visions can be turned into pixels now. A renaissance is imminent.
