Why is it that when Tennessee loses big games, it's in an entire clownshow blowout? Why is that? We didn't just lose to SC in 22, we ate 63 or whatever points. We didn't just lose to Missouri last year. We lost by 30. We didn't just lose tonight. We lost by whatever the hell they wanted to score. Why is that? We never lose a close game when it matters. We damn sure don't win them, but we don't lose close either. It's always a program ending, train derailing, total annihilation.

@jonpowersTN @SlimySewell @EvanMiya Tenn is physical. I respect it very much. Both teams had a lot of fouls called, I think it was 8-6 in the foul category. Your guy isn’t forcing because of the refs, he’s forcing because it’s a good defense. Rick will get them next year (no he won’t)

@DanWolken And then Dusty’s team got a massively favorable whistle the rest of the half. You would think a guy that’s been coaching for 40 yrs and is pure class would get a bit more respect from the officials on the other sideline? Never does.

Michigan is really good and destroyed Tennessee today. Three straight Elite 8’s is a great run for Vols. Big UT boosters & administration have a decision to make — how much money are they willing to give Rick Barnes to give him a truly elite roster?

@Nekolitch74 @EvanMiya It was 4-4 on fouls in the first 9 min. The rest of the way it 9-3 until they called two ticky tack “no impact on the play” calls on Mich late in the half.

@Jon__Reed Barnes lets the other coach get an advantage every year in this spot. It’s clear May’s Armageddon comments landed and it changed the game. Barnes should’ve said hang on, we have been at a disadvantage w the whistle in the last two E8 games, so that’s a bunch of BS

@jonpowersTN @ByPatForde It's been bad on both sides. We've gotten ticky-tack nothing fouls and phantom fouls like the clean block from Mara. It's bad for both. Hurts a physical team like Tenn more when the refs do this. Rather it be straight up basketball.

Barnes should’ve talked about how we have been screwed by the whistle in every Elite 8 game the last three years in the pregame interviews. It’s apparent that May’s Armageddon crack landed with these incompetent officials.
