You might not have noticed it, but I spotted a small patch on my nose in photos recently. Turns out it’s something called actinic keratosis — basically a small area of skin that’s been damaged by the sun over time. It’s pretty common, especially on places like the nose that get a lot of exposure. It’s not a big issue right now, but if it’s left untreated it can develop into something more serious, so it’s best to deal with it early. The plan is to use a chemotherapy cream to clear out the damaged cells before they become a problem down the line — just a heads up that when I start treatment it’ll probably look worse before it gets better. In the meantime (and going forward), protecting my skin is really important — which is why I’ve added factor 100 sunscreen to my Amazon wishlist 😄 It’s a good one I can take on holiday too, so no excuses. Also a little reminder: keep an eye on your skin. If you notice something new or different, get it checked.
