@DarlingKiyomi @yourvids_app I really do appreciate the run down, too. Everything I'd seen has been focused on creators, and that's really important too, but I'm getting to the point where I don't like most platforms, so it's good to hear a take about things from a consumer perspective.

I’ve asked a lot of questions about customer experience to their Dev’s! However, I am not apart of their team so I can only share what I know. Models are able to toggle to a “Fan” perspective, so we can see directly what you as a customer would view. From a design perspective, the site is easy to use. There’s clear tags, the search engine functions properly, and you’re able to customize the viewing experience to your specific preferences. They are having issues with payments, but they’ve only been launched for two days and have been hot fixing these issues. They’re a brand new site so we’ll have to wait a few weeks to see if these are longterm problems! Every customer of mine who’s experienced payment issues has had it resolved within an hour! You are not required to subscribe to their “premium” membership to purchase anything. This will remove the fees you pay after each video though! I’d consider it an equivalent to DoorDash premium. There are also no “Fanclubs” features, so no subscribing to models. It is for clip sales only! This site is as light on censorship as possible, but has to comply with the same payment processor compliance as any other clip site. However, they do allow us to have NSFW profile photos which is more than any other site at this point! I’d say as a model the site feels much less “random” in their enforcement of rules. There is no option to toggle our videos from stream only or downloadable, which leads me to believe all videos are downloadable! The site will require age verification on a state by state basis just like every other porn site. This is not their choice, but a legal requirement. An unfortunate part of consuming ethical porn means that good faith sites (Who report our earnings to the IRS and allow our work to be legal. AND who ID verify every model & video on their website) will have to comply with these laws. I suggest using a VPN at sign up if you’re uncomfortable sharing your ID (Which I agree, is a violation of our privacy, but not the sites decision) As a model, the 100% payout structure is more than any other site gives us. Even when I lower my prices to help offset the fee for you, I will still walk away with 90% of what you spend on me. This is 10-30% more than ANY site. If you believe in your money going directly to the models you support, I think this is worth a try. 🫶🏻

@JoJoeyJosefin Yup, I'm aware. I was just saying the laws, and payment processor censorship, compound this, and are pushing people onto less consumer friendly platforms, or much less suitable, unregulated platforms, where abuse is more likely. Manyvids was more consumer friendly, too. Was.

@kurlancheek @feladrae I kinda feel like WoW in general worries too much about intricate game designs that detract from fun, instead of asking with every "design", "Does this actually make the game and this particular feature, better, or worse?"

@kurlancheek @feladrae Feedback: WoW has a love affair with time-gating and throttling people. I want to see this less, across the board, not more, especially on things like this. I don't even see how the xp/renown system actively make this feature better. Just makes me not want to play with it at all.

Turns out there's a Housing XP cap from endeavors – don't know how much it was but I reached it! No endeavors are showing Housing Xp rewards anymore, just community coupons.

@CabinetMoose @kurlancheek @feladrae Absofuckinglutely. I feel like the entire xp/renown system destroys what should be a really fun feature and makes it extremely unintuitive. I want to decorate my house, how I want, not hunt obscure achieves to unlock decor I don't want and will never use because of xp.

@kurlancheek @feladrae I also feel like the fun part of housing is collecting decor you actually want to use, not collecting a noah's ark containing 1 of every decor item most of which you will never use in any house, so the whole experience just misses the mark.

@Sophielittle If the pain is really unbearable, most drug stores also have topical sprays and mouth washes that also help. Oral analgesics can really give you a clean 5-15 minutes to help you get over the hump to sleep.

@Sophielittle Theraflu, Mucinex, cough drops (Ricola, or Halls if you need something medicated), and really hot showers. The Theraflu and cough drops help the pain and fever, and you can have hot tea when you can't have any more Theraflu. Mucinex help get the mucus out.
