विक्रमशिला सेतु का एक हिस्सा मानो खुद ही माँ गंगा को समर्पित हो गया है। कोई दिक्कत नहीं है अब कई जिलों के लाखों लोग रोज़ 50–100 किलोमीटर ज़्यादा घूमेंगे, आखिर जनता है ही किसलिए?
क्या कोई वरीय परियोजना अभियंता ज्ञान चंद्र दास और उनके अनपढ़, भ्रष्ट साथियों को बुलाकर ये पूछने की ज़हमत उठाएगा कि जब रिपोर्ट में सेतु के स्ट्रक्चर में कोई खराबी नहीं थी, तो ये तमाशा कैसे हो गया?
भारत में, खासकर हमारे बिहार में, भ्रष्टाचार से होने वाली ऐसी घटनाओं की भविष्यवाणी करना अब कोई बड़ी बात नहीं रह गई है। जब नौकरशाह और राजनेता दोनों ही सिर्फ अपना घर भरने में लगे हों, तो नतीजा यही होना था।
