But in my 30's, I realized l don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace. I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be. I still want to make money.. just not at the cost of my life.

A defining moment in my life was working for STAPLES in 2010. Our store was properly staffed for like 2 weeks, humming along with very little stress. Upper management dinged the store for clocking too many hours and we went back to miserable skeleton crew schedules the next week.

@Huncho_Jman I honestly didn’t think he looked effective most of the season even when healthy. Smoked a lot of layups for a guy whose game is getting to the rim. But my god if he can do this on a consistent basis, make him PG1 next year.

It’s pretty nuts that TJ Shannon is getting some of his first DHO two-man game play type reps in the NBA in a playoff setting.
Even when he has played extended minutes in the regular season, I feel like he hasn’t had to be prioritized like this.

In Economics 101 you learn comparative advantage.
Jaden McDaniels is a perfect example.
It’s not about whether he can be a scorer. It’s about opportunity cost. On a winning Timberwolves team, his elite defense provides more value while others carry usage.
That doesn’t mean he can’t scale offensively. He just hasn’t needed to yet.
When that role comes, I believe the offense rises to legit star-level impact.
