Big Shots Spotlight! Evan Custis @Yoboiev22 (5’11 2028 Christiansburg HS, VA). Evan is a smooth shooting guard whose shot mechanics are sound and fluid. He’s a sniper! He attacks a hard closeout nicely ripping into rangy and quick strides as he attacks the basket aggressively. An athletic finisher with impressive leaping ability. Evan is a threat as a shooter both off the dribble and out of catch and shoot action. Gets to his spots off the dribble nicely and into a very good dribble pull-up. He has a nice frame with length potential. A heady ball handler with exciting potential not only as a scorer but as a play creator. Evan is the son of Virginia Tech Hall of Famer and 1997 NCAA All American Ace Custis who is currently the Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Virginia Tech. Evan has a natural feel. He can get his shot seemingly at will and knocks down shots out of a variety of actions at a high rate. He has a chance to be special!
