"There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop.
And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it - that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all.” -- Mario Savio, Berkeley 1964

@r0ck3t23 Taking ≠ Winning w Ideas. Something in which the US is incapable.

Elon Musk just defended America better than every politician in Washington combined.
Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?”
One nation on earth held a weapon nobody else had.
Total dominance. Zero competition. No risk of retaliation.
Every empire in history that held that kind of advantage used it.
Rome. The Mongols. The British. The Ottomans.
They conquered until they collapsed.
America had a bigger advantage than all of them combined.
And it rebuilt the countries it just defeated.
Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.”
Almost unprecedented?
It had never happened before. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded history.
The Marshall Plan wasn’t foreign aid.
It was the most radical act of restraint any superpower ever committed.
America turned its enemies into allies. Turned rubble into economies. Turned surrender into partnership.
Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a generation.
Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth.
Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin.
A city in the heart of the nation that just tried to destroy it.
That’s not policy.
That’s a civilization deciding what it is at the exact moment it has the power to be anything.
You’re being told a story right now.
That America is the villain of history.
You hear it everywhere. Media. Universities. Social platforms.
Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.”
Every nation on earth has dark chapters. Every single one.
The difference is what a country does when nobody can stop it.
And when nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities.
Musk: “The history of China suggests that China is not acquisitive. Meaning they’re not going to go out and invade a whole bunch of countries.”
Probably right.
China has historically built walls, not fleets.
But the real question isn’t about borders anymore.
We’re approaching a moment that mirrors 1945 in ways nobody has fully processed yet.
AI is going to give a handful of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look quaint.
If someone is going to hold that kind of power, who do you want it to be?
The country that conquered when it could? Or the one that rebuilt when it didn’t have to?
Every alliance. Every trade route. Every economy.
Billions lifted out of poverty.
All of it traces back to one act of restraint that had never been done before.
And carries no guarantee of being repeated.
The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb.
It was what it didn’t do after.

@ThrillaRilla369 I remember all-white schools like this.

@CuriosityonX “You can’t get there from here” is an old saying I used to hear in New England. Human consciousness is capable of far more complex “travel” in Universe. Everyone possesses this knowledge at birth, but it’s beat out of you with whatever culture in which you are born.

April 30, 1789. Slaver George Washington was sworn in as President. 69 elites selected him through the Electoral College. Not a single U.S. citizen voted for him ever, first or second term. Our first elite mob-rule defined nearly two thousand years ago: Mobile; Capricious; and Defying their own laws.
The Popular Vote is window dressing for the proletariat when elites choose the candidate. GW didn’t free his own slaves when he died. Martha wanted them.
English

@elonmusk The American Pledge of Allegiance used the Bellamy Salute for FIFTY years. It was copied by the Axis powers. When Germany declared war, the U.S. dropped it.
Just like the 45th Division of the U.S. Army dropped the swastika, a commonly used symbol for millennia.

Voting is window dressing. Since 1789 it’s been a succession of elite mafias choosing candidates for the proletariat. The so-called people’s parties proved that repeatedly; Republicans happily. Defying laws; capricious; mobile elites are classical mob-rule defined nearly 2,000 years ago as the “worst rule of all.”

@ThrillaRilla369 Burger Chef, for less than a week. Last full-time restaurant job was steam tables at a cafeteria, 16y.o. Started paying taxes age 14 washing dishes at a diner in Vermont for $1.50/hr during the Summer of Love.
So, yeah.

@JohnStossel @charlesmurray Eugenics is pseudoscience. Anthropological geneticists debunked it decades ago. Every time a “race” box is checked, the “intelligence quotient” of the human race diminishes. Sowing hatred and division is a game for the elite mob that rules us.
English

“I’m deeply depressed,” @charlesmurray tells me.
He’s talking about America’s growing welfare state.
The man who influenced both Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton to try welfare reform now says, "I don’t see a way back out.”
English

Eugenics is pseudoscience that divides us by design. Eugenics is 19th century quackery that was disproven by anthropological geneticists decades ago.
There are no races except the human race. No whites, blacks, Asian, or Semites. Anti-anything Homo sapiens is ludicrously stupid.
Every time we check a box for “race” on any document, we should all feel the same foolishness.
English

Yeah sorry there's nothing you can say to me to make me sit here and go along with the latest fake antisemitism scare. You don't get to assault free speech throughout the western world to protect the information interests of a genocidal apartheid state and then demand I be silent about it. Yell, scream, call me names all you want, I'm going to call the bullshit what it is. Good luck with your emotions about it.

Boomers lost their war; didn’t like wars, so ‘they’ brought the war to them: Supper, 2001.
An entire generation indoctrinated by a mop-topped, flip-flop psyop had no chance. We’re dropping like flies, now; I’m “playing with the House’s money.”

Driving on sunshine is fun and super-cheap, however two fresh carburetors and huffing petrochemicals has its merits. I don’t need no stinking brain cells; “memory is a curse.”
Every ‘vroom’ is keeping the petrodollar from collapsing. Yay.
At my next physical, must compare T levels from last year’s purely electric transportation.
This could be groundbreaking data.
