This map shows how boys (blue) and girls (red) spend their breaks in a school in Barcelona. This school is used as a case study of space shared equitably. Often in such studies boys simply play on the sports fields while girls spend their break talking or on non-sport playgrounds. Design can impact movement patterns massively. Source: buff.ly/yg47GX7
@imatweet25 One of the ten Americans released from Venezuela is a dual US/Venezuelan citizen. He was serving a sentence in prison for killing two women (secretaries at a law firm) in Madrid, Spain. He fled Spain for Venezuela. This known criminal is now roaming free in the US!
@patpend The ending -ia is used in latin to denote "land of" (Romania, Hispania, etc) The Egiptyan Alexandria was named after Alexander the Great, thus "Alexanderia", which is read and written dropping the second "e". Even if named after the Alexander family it would have been Alexandria.
I'm beginning to have questions about why our town is called Alexandria based on the responses I've got from my local Chatbot and doing research on the Internet. The owner of what is now Alexandria was the Alexander Family. The accepted assumption is it was named after the family. However, why wasn't it named "Alexander". The Chatbot keeps saying it was after Alexandria Egypt. And in other conversations the Chatbot said that Alexander picked the name from Alexandria Egypt. In fact, there are some historical sites on the Internet that give this as a theory. This shows how answers that seem to be incorrect may not be.
@flyfootball_@flightradar24 It's not their choice. International laws prohibit crews flying over certain limits. If they do, they and the airlines could be liable if anything happened. In this case, opting to continue to Paris makes a lot of sense: LH only had to fly a crew there to continue the flight.
@flightradar24 Why didn't they decide to just fly that extra hour to get to their destination? The crew also doesn't benefit from an extra diversion, right?
Lufthansa's daily scheduled flight LH511 from Buenos Aires to Frankfurt had to divert twice on June 27 - firstly due to a medical emergency, and then as the crew duty hours expired. Here are the replays of those flights operated by a Boeing 747-8.

@Gabriel3lias I've lived in several EU countries . Never was I asked about my race or origin.
I don't understand our obsession in the USA with classifying people based on race, origin, gender, etc.
It's just for statistics, they say. But then the data is used to perpetuate stereotypes.
Kids took FCPS danger survey.
Amelia - "They asked me what I was? I didn't see mixed."
Me to kids - "Are you white? Indian? What are you?"
Amelia- "They didn't have mixed."
Ari- "Just put Asian." 🤔
Amelia- "Why do people sniff glue?"
Me- "What am I?"
"Bald"
