Jonathan Stevens’ stuff has looked electric in his first pro start. 5 strikeouts in 2 innings. He’s allowed 5 runs due to 4 Mighty Mussel throwing errors and a 1.000 BABIP, but very encouraging stuff from the 21-year-old.

RHP Jonathan Stevens, the Twins 15th round pick that didn’t pitch at all in his 2 years at Bama, made his pro debut tonight. 2 scoreless innings, the stuff looks very intriguing. Great spin on everything. Worked a mid-90s fastball and upper 80s cutter, mixed in curve and slider.
