@BarryToohey seeing rivals circling McEwan, Lucas possibly waiting to see what he can get elsewhere… surely the club have accounted them into the cap especially after losing possibly Gagai and Frizz, whilst also signing Niukore on big $$

@vella_jay @BarryToohey I wouldn’t be giving him anymore and if he is happy to leave then let him go. Can’t afford to be spending more on him unfortunately due to his injuries and our cap situation. Got too many coming off contract to be spending more on him.

Obviously he does re-sign it makes things a bit tougher to keep everyone but if he does leave then we’d have no issue keeping the others

Interesting decision for Hollbrook. I am tipping that De Courcey comes in for next couple of weeks. After that do we end up with a shuffle for a few weeks till Kalyn and Best come back. Do they put the Fletch’s in at Fullback and Centre. It’s keeps Smith in the starting team

Scans have confirmed a moderate grade groin strain (partial tear) for Bradman Best - the Knights expect him to miss up to 4 weeks. Partial adductor tears have quite a wide recovery range - anywhere from 2-6 weeks in past NRL cases.

What do you put the turnaround in Jacob Saifiti @NRLKnights fans. Absolutely phenomenal again yesterday huge minutes dominating in attack and defence. Is it is simple as that changes in coaching staff or a different pre season. It would be an interesting case study

@ByronJonez @BarryToohey He’s a type that goes to storm and absolutely kills it. Our issue is progressing our youth and having them ready for first grade! Cant and McEwan were so good in NSW Cup. Just need them to take the next step and stop the silly errors. McEwan is progressing well.

@BarryToohey We don't need 'great trainers', we need 'great players' Baz. And Thomas Cant aint a great player and won't ever be. Doesn't bend the line with the ball, not quick, terrible hands, undersized. Just another bog-standard local that tries hard. Easily replaceable. Like Brodie Jones.

He is a great trainer. Sometimes you have to look a bit deeper. Knights have let too many young guys go in the past because of the want for a quick fix with no patience to persevere. Everyone within the 4 walls loves him hence why they made sure he didn’t go to Perth or Sharks.
