How well does the new Compose shared element API handle text❓🧐
Well... I'll let you be the judge of that.😉
See 👇 for shared texts transforming the font size change

Help us welcome @jossiwolf to the #dcldn23 speaker lineup! 🇬🇧
Walk away with a solid understanding of what building an #API entails, an example API design process, #JetpackCompose-specific design details & how this maps to non-library codebases.

@GakisStylianos We have some samples (search for AnchoredDraggableSamples on cs.android.com). developer.android.com mostly references stable releases, so we will have documentation there once 1.6 goes stable. That being said, the samples should get you started!

@jossiwolf As someone who hasn't used the old API anyway, is there some place in the docs that simply talks about this new API without referencing the old one? The comparisons look really useful, but only for people wine used the old one of course 😄

Between talks and panels at Droidcon Berlin, the Swipeable to AnchoredDraggable migration guide was published! Check it out and let us know any questions and feedback!

Today, we merged a set of changes that will publish AnchoredDraggable in Compose Foundation. This is the successor to Swipeable which will be deprecated in favor of AnchoredDraggable. Stay tuned for the next alpha version(s) - or try a snapshot build (see androidx.dev)

@jossiwolf Hi @jossiwolf, today I upgraded to the new version of androidx.compose.material:1.6.0-alpha01 and I am seeing the deprecation of SwipeableDefaults, do you have more info when this migration guide will be published? Thanks in advance! 😃
English
