🚨 BOLTON WARNS EUROPE: THIS COULD BACKFIRE HARD John Bolton has just laid out a consequence European leaders may not have fully thought through. By dismissing Iran as “not our war”, Europe may be triggering something far bigger. Because the response from Donald Trump is predictable: “Then Ukraine isn’t our war either.” That’s the strategic risk. For years, Europe has leaned heavily on American: Military support Financial backing Security guarantees Particularly in Ukraine. But alliances are reciprocal. If Europe chooses to step back when the U.S. faces a major geopolitical confrontation… It opens the door for Washington to do the same. And that changes everything. Bolton’s warning cuts to the core of alliance politics: You don’t get to pick when solidarity applies. Because once that precedent is set… NATO cohesion fractures Support for Ukraine becomes uncertain And the entire Western alliance enters a new phase of transactional relationships Europe may think it’s avoiding escalation. But in reality, it may be inviting a strategic reset — one that leaves it far more exposed than before. The question now is whether European leaders recognise the gamble they’re making… Before the consequences arrive.

@CasinoCapital @PoloniusCrambe @BahHaHumbug @Only_Borrowed @LC300563 So you pay £1,300 on water and sewage. Seems you are rather selective with your information. I suppose you don’t use roads, or street lighting. I guess you don’t care about child social services. I suppose old people should die to save you a couple of pence.

🚨 Rumours are circulating that Kier Starmer could enforce a national lockdown over the recent case's of meningitis! Which would mean that he could cancel the May elections, He will do anything to stay in power! This man is truely an evil dictator that is hell bent on breaking every last chance of saving our country and the freedoms that we once enjoyed.

@JWrobelski1 @JimFergusonUK You’re the worst of America. You are arrogant, cheap, you aim low, boastful, classless, you insult, you are stupid, you have no manners, you claim others achievements as your own, you are ungrateful but demand gratitude. Fortunately many of your countrymen and women are not.

Defending international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz is a coalition responsibility. That is not an offensive campaign. It is a defensive mission to protect freedom of navigation, global commerce, and the stability of a maritime chokepoint that carries roughly 20 percent of the world’s energy flows. When allies choose not to contribute, the burden shifts to fewer nations and the credibility of collective security is weakened. Putin benefits from that decision in multiple ways. Higher oil prices strengthen Russia’s war economy. Reduced coalition presence creates more space for Iran to threaten shipping, reinforcing Moscow’s partnership with Tehran. Most importantly, it offers a real-time test of NATO’s will and cohesion. Adversaries are not just watching capabilities. They are measuring resolve. IMO.

Man talks crock of shit. I’ll simplify. The Iranian regime has been in power for nearly 50 years. It has been kept in check by the numerous world bodies. Its borders have not expanded. It has not invaded any other nation. This is not defending an unpleasant regime.
Bill Mitchell@mitchellvii

I'll simplify. Taking out the Iranian Regime now is like taking out Hitler in 1933. In 1933 Hitler's army was no imminent threat to Europe and America was totally isolationist. If we had attacked Hitler then there would have been hell to pay politically at home. And yet it would have saved countless millions of lives. Trump didn't start a war. He's ending a war that's been going on for 47 years.

@JWrobelski1 @JimFergusonUK You people are pathetic. I thought more of Americans not to fall for the cult of the personality. But sadly, not. One of the reasons we have so many Muslims here is because our troops fought alongside our US allies after 9/11. And, we’d do it again.

@grantstern I thought the language was a little too bombastic. Unfortunately, fake. We owe our American allies a great deal, but the US’s current president is a joke of a man who belittles America on the world stage. Once the leader of the free world now an embarrassment. Sorry.

A View From Yorkshire 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
Europe didn’t just disagree with Donald Trump—it became obsessed with dismissing him. And now NATO is paying the price. For years, entire political circles fixated on the man—mocking the tone, the delivery, the fact he wasn’t “one of them.” A businessman, not a career politician. Too blunt. Too direct. So instead of engaging with what he was actually saying, they ignored it. And what was he saying? Pay your way. Stop leaning on the US. Take responsibility for your own defence. Not radical. Not reckless. Just inconvenient. So it was easier to sneer… than to act. Now look where we are. Europe picks its conflicts. All in on Ukraine. Hands off elsewhere—“not our war.” That’s not leadership. That’s selective courage. And across the Atlantic? Patience is wearing thin. Because if you spend years undermining your strongest ally politically, while depending on them militarily, don’t be surprised when they start stepping back. Here’s the brutal truth: NATO isn’t collapsing because of one man. It’s being weakened by years of political ego, short-term thinking, and a refusal to separate personality from reality. You don’t have to like Trump. But if your strategy is shaped by that dislike… You’re not thinking clearly. You’re reacting. And when you react instead of prepare— you don’t get strength. You get exposed. Because if the safety net goes… Europe won’t be debating Trump anymore. It’ll be standing on its own—facing a far less forgiving world.

@22blanco22 @afneil @ArmchairAdml There’s much anti-American sentiment on here directed at the US’s record in the World Wars. In both cases American troops and equipment helped win the wars. They were brave & their sacrifice should never be forgotten. That’s not to say they don’t have a fool of a President now.

People harping on end game make me boil. You guys were few months away from all being a German colony if not for the American. And they’ve kept the peace through the NATO alliance an even having boots on ground in almost every country. Churchill and penning weren’t talking about endgame when they were begging FDR for help and if not for the japanese actions at pearl harbour, Americans won’t be joining the war.

You want the NATO allies to join you in a war you started without ever consulting these allies about the war or explaining your war aims. We’re meant just to meekly fall in line. You recently supported a US invasion of a NATO ally (Denmark/Greenland) but now you want these same allies to join your war. Your president disparaged and misrepresented the role of NATO allies in Afghanistan. But now you want them to join with you again in a war of your making. You went to war with Iran without a thought of how to keep the Strait of Hormuz open and without involving your allies in the matter. But now you want the NATO allies to bail you out, even though there’s still no plan for Hormuz. You want the NATO allies to join you in a war in which you still cannot articulate the endgame. Or what victory would look like. You went to war thinking the Iranian regime would quickly topple, that Tehran would not attack the Gulf States or close Hormuz. Why would we align with such Epic Stupidity? You and other know-nothing blowhards started this war all on your own. You can finish it on your own. If you’re able to …

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

Who is NATO today. 🤷🏼‍♀️‼️ Who do they back. Who is the main threat to the U.K. and west right now? Who has backed over 20 terror attacks on the uk? Who has attacked Uk military bases? Who has attacked NATO allies Who is holding oil supply hostage ? Iran Who is NATO and EU acting aggressively against? Russia Has Russia attacked uk? No Has Russia stopped oil supply? No Yet which diplomats have the U.K. banned? Which country has the U.K. shunned? Exactly Who is NATO anymore? Certainly no great peace keeper or ally to America that's for sure. Rule Britannia? A long distant memory unfortunately .
