@MateHR16 @crotalentscout2 He would walk onto Croatia’s ancient squad easily.
English

Niko Sigur on his decision to represent Canada
“I grew up watching the [Croatian] national team. I’m proud of my Croatian roots, but I felt that I’m CANADIAN-Croatian.
I was born here [Canada], I’ve lived here and played soccer here all my life. So I feel like I owe it to the country of Canada to wear this jersey.”

@ryancoyssss @ToneTalksFooty2 @TheSpursExpress If you think he’s jeopardizing his career by wanting to play a season with his brother in the bundesliga at 19 years old you’re lost😭
English

@ToneTalksFooty2 @TheSpursExpress No one has ever jeopardised a whole season of their career to play with their brother, he’s under contract at spurs so why does he think he can decide where he goes on loan or even if he goes on loan
English

🎙️| Luka Vušković on next season:
“After this season, I’ll be a #Tottenham player again. I have a contract there until 2030. It’s also my dream to play alongside my brother, Mario, at Hamburg. I would give everything for that. #Spurs know that too.”

English

@FCBdieter @WhoScored @HSV Cubarsi is nothing without inigo, Vuskovic is carrying a newly promoted defense at 18/19
English

@WhoScored @HSV then where is cubarsi acc to you and who is vuskovic ??
English

@Felix65694084 @Score90_ Baturina is Modric replacement, Marco pasalic is Perisic replacement, plenty of krama replacements, and Mario pasalic is quite literally in his prime rn
English

@Crewsmatfin @Niko7146 @croatian_footy Why is winning against England always out of the equation? We are more than capable of doing so with our best squad
English

@Niko7146 @croatian_footy Avoid a defeat against England ➡️beat Panama and Ghana ➡️hope you beat England for the first place in the group via goal difference.
English

@XenetyHD @TheCroatian_ Probably one of the best Bosnian young talents in a position they’re severely lacking in, he has every right to be mad at being left out, especially since he plays regular football for club
English

@TheCroatian_ Little snake. Its been months with Olic and now the reason is because he is «left out». Why would Krunic call him up?
English

The full statement Luka Mikulić shared on Instagram:
“After I received my first call-up from coach Branislav Krunić, I responded with pride. At that moment, I was one of the most consistent players in the league, yet the coach sent me to the stands twice. I stayed silent and respected his decision. Once, he put me into the game for just one minute. Whether he wanted to humiliate me or not… he knows best, but I respected that as well, just like every one of his decisions—even though at the time I was one of the few in the national team not playing junior football, but senior football.
I made a historic transfer for my then-club Posušje and continued my career at Grasshoppers, and as a ‘reward’ for that, I didn’t receive a single call-up from the coach in the past three months, while other teammates who changed clubs were getting invitations and congratulations. I stayed silent and respected that too, as I did every decision of the coach. The final straw was today’s squad list from the coach, where I am not included. Perhaps I’m not on the list because I’m a regular starter for my team?
I am a grown man and I respect everyone’s choices, including the coach’s, despite the fact that they are neither logical nor, if you will, fair. I would like to take this opportunity to thank President Zeljković, Director Spahić, coordinator Dalibor Šilić, as well as our fans, BHFanaticos, whose support meant a lot to us in Slovenia. As of today, the national team is a closed chapter for me. In the future, I want to focus on my club obligations, and I wish the national team all the best and much success.”

Luka Mikulić has publicly stated he no longer wants to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 national team after being left out of the latest squad for the upcoming qualifications. As previously mentioned, Croatia U21 is monitoring him and may call him up in the coming months.
English

@KennySloth253 @rgg1129235 @The_Forty_Four Livakovic won World Cup medals and won 2 penalty shootouts, name a single goalkeeper currently in the MLS with any accolade better than that
English

@rgg1129235 @The_Forty_Four Yeah elite goalkeeper play on display here. Livakovic the best in your league his highest level was Turkey. MLS has much better keeper than the fucking HNL
English

@zrina_nina @TheCroatian_ He’s talented and a winger (something we are lacking youth in) so there’s a great chance that he might start if his career excels soon
English

Socceroos coach Tony Popović on Adrian Segečić's switch to Croatia:
“If you’re getting called up through the youth levels, then you get called up by the Socceroos, shouldn’t that be enough that you’re wanted?”
“Should I promise a player at 20 or 21 that he has to play? It's probably better for him that he's gone.”

English

@croatian_footy Yes, he has potential to be great, but not a starter quite yet. See how he plays the friendlies and maybe he could start against Panama or one of the easier scheduled games. Lacking air presence from a striker since Super Mario
English

@catalonia35 @heis_fede Modric left at 40, Xavi left at 35, iniesta left at 34. Your statement is stupid as Modric spent 5 more years at the top flight and won multiple ucls
English

@heis_fede Xavi left Barcelona of his own free will.
Iniesta left of his own free will.
Modrić wasn’t offered a renewal by Pérez and got pushed out — as usual — just like Ramos and Cristiano. We are not the same.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

@alfredfrank_ We used to struggle with defense over the last 10 years, so that all of our development went into developing generational defenders and now we’re in need of attackers…
English

Croatia have this crazy generation of young centerbacks on the come up! 🇭🇷📈
Obviously Luka Vuskovic as a front-runner, set to become one of the very best CBs in the world in my eyes, but also these three showing loads of promise:
-Branimir Mlacic (2007, Udinese)
-Leon Jakirovic (2008, Inter Milan)
-Raul Kumar (2008, NK Istra)
Looks like Croatia have another golden generation brewing, plenty of talent everywhere on the pitch!

Eyeball Football (Soccer)@Eyeballfootball
Exciting move! Hajduk Split talent Branimir Mlacic has just signed for Serie A side Udinese! 🇮🇹✍️ A brilliant ball-playing CB with excellent defensive capabilities. 💪 On Eyeball, he averages 3.2 aerial duels won and 26 forward passes completed per 90 minutes. 📊
