He is mocking one of the IPL’s most successful franchises, perhaps because it was against CSK that GT failed to defend their title in 2023 under Gill’s captaincy. Three years later, that CSK side barely exists. Jadeja has moved on, Dhoni and Rayudu have retired. This is now a young side with players like Mhatre, Urvil, Kartik and Veer finding their feet. Yet Gill still feels the need to take shots at a team full of budding players. It suggests the scars of that 2023 defeat run deeper than expected and continue to shape both his on-field and off-field behaviour. Carrying a chip this big rarely helps win trophies. Perhaps that also explains why GT haven’t lifted the IPL since 2022, and why 2026 may not change that.

Just listen to that constant whistle sound, it’s become unbearable. Nothing against CSK fans, but this level of noise (by any team) shouldn’t be allowed in any stadium. It’s not just affecting opposition fans, even their own supporters are struggling with it. This isn’t celebration anymore, it’s just pure noise pollution. Think about little kids and elderly people in the stands. The risk of hearing damage is real after sitting through hours of this. Stadiums need to draw a line somewhere.

When political discourse sinks into such gutter-level abuse and personal attacks, it exposes not just frustration but the rotten, toxic culture deeply nurtured inside these parties' leadership. Repeated electoral defeats have replaced any introspection with pure bitterness, dragging sections of the opposition even further away from dignity, restraint, or any constructive politics.
