@BeschlossDC I was living in Kent; my dad was a professor there and I was in elementary school. We were shocked and horrified by what had happened. The National Guard camped out on my playground, and the governor blamed "outside Communist agitators," which wasn't true.

Four students at Kent State University, Ohio, were killed today 1970 by National Guard troops, who also wounded nine others, as they protested Nixon for expanding the Vietnam war into Cambodia. Do any of you remember this day? If so, how did you react to the violence?

Was talking to a friend of mine who's a mortgage broker yesterday and it turns out the GST/HST rebate for new home buyers hasn't cleared the Senate and they don't sit again until February. Meaning first time buyers still have to pay GST/HST on purchases of new $1M homes.
