Reproductive Tourism: The Global Business of Surrogacy in Africa
Commercial surrogacy has become a booming global industry, largely driven by demand from wealthy clients in the Global North. Countries in Europe and North America often outsource pregnancy to economically vulnerable women in the Global South, creating a system where the desires of clients overshadow the needs of the women carrying the pregnancies. Travel packages, genetic selection, and tightly controlled pregnancy experiences are marketed as luxury services, while the surrogates themselves remain largely invisible.
Many surrogates come from underprivileged backgrounds and may not fully understand the contracts they sign, making surrogacy a survival strategy rather than a choice. Despite this, postpartum care and ongoing support are often excluded, highlighting the stark imbalance between the comfort of clients and the well-being of the women at the heart of the process.
This global system raises serious ethical concerns. Technologies like IVF and genetic screening have introduced elements of neo-eugenics, allowing clients to select traits and discard embryos that don’t meet their standards. Combined with the economic disparities between the Global North and South, commercial surrogacy has become a modern frontier of reproductive exploitation, where the reproductive labor of women in poorer countries fuels markets designed to satisfy the wealthier.

Africa Did Not Create the Transatlantic Slave Trade; Europe's Demand Did
The idea that “Africans sold Africans” has been repeated so often that people treat it like complete history, when it is anything but. It strips away context and forces a modern racial reading onto a pre-colonial African world that did not organise itself around European ideas of race. Africa was not one people and it was not one identity. It was made up of kingdoms, empires, nations and ethnic groups with their own political systems, cultures and interests. So when conflict happened, it was not “Black people selling Black people” in the way that phrase is now used. It was political conflict between distinct societies, just as Europe had its own wars between rival states and kingdoms.
What Europe created through the transatlantic slave trade was something different in scale, structure and purpose. This was not simply an extension of local wars. It was a racialised, hereditary and industrial system built for profit, conquest and extraction. European demand drove it, expanded it and turned human beings into global commodities on a scale the world had not seen before. That is why the “Africans sold Africans” argument is not serious history. It is a lazy deflection that avoids naming Europe’s central role in designing, racialising and profiting from the transatlantic slave trade.

And so what???
Trump took the U.S. to war in Iran without getting approval from congress. He did it in a DEMOCRACY.
Last I checked, only the congress has the power to declare war. But he's a western president doing what he thinks is right for HIS country, so no qualms.
Why can't you guys stop convulsing when African leaders make decisions they think is best for THEIR own country???
Why do you care so much about Burkina Faso and it's people?

Why Is Africa Still Copying Western Democracy?
Between the United States’s National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and the European Union’s Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI)-Global Europe, the West spends hundreds of millions of dollars annually in Africa to “support democracy”.
But what is the West really supporting, and why? What “democratic” African governments presently enjoy this “support”? What gives the West the moral authority to lecture Africa about good governance at all? And why do so many Africans subscribe to the idea that the Western conception of democracy is the best form of governance?
What danger does this unexamined belief pose to the African continent?

Alex Barbir or whatever you are called. Are you denying your own words on TV?
That aside, how did you you go from a very low profile college athlete in 2020, with no other digital footprint to becoming a ‘humanitarian,’ owning an organization called “Building Zion” and showing up at scenes of terror attacks in Nigeria?
Who is funding your Building Zion organization?
How come the Nigerian DSS that you say can’t protect Nigerians are able to protect you?
That’s if you are truly the one running this account, and not your handlers in Washington or Tel Aviv.

Nigerians, Wake Up!
Over the last 2 years, a dangerous and divisive narrative has spread across Nigeria, a narrative of religious persecution, of Nigerian Christians being massacred by “Islamic jihadists” and “ISIS terrorists” for their faith in a “Christian genocide”, a narrative which did not originate in Nigeria, but in Washington DC. For the last 2 years, and in recent months most especially, the administration of US President Donald Trump has been relentlessly pushing this narrative.
Why is it doing this, and why should every Nigerian be very concerned?
The answer lies in the history of geopolitics over the last 8 decades, and in this video, YouTubers Sonny Faz and Bek Lover shed light on this answer.

My problem is not whether anybody hates Muslims or not. I'm not religious and anyone has the right to hate whoever or whatever they want. My problem is that if you truly believe that "Muslims are killing Christians" in search of some "Islamic Caliphate", and you are serious about opposing them, then you should want to find out who is funding these "Muslims", who is supplying them military equipment, and who is constantly providing all kinds of political, diplomatic and material support for them.
If you believe in something, follow it all the way through. Go down the rabbit hole and don't stop until you've found what you're looking for. Once upon a time, when I had the same ideas about "Muslims", that was what I set out to do. Because that is the logical next step of opposing something. You should want to find out everything you can about this enemy so that you can disrupt it. So back in 2021, I set out to find out everything I could about these "Muslims" and the big masquerades behind them - and those masquerades turned out to be in Tel-Aviv and Washington DC. That was when I realised that "Muslims" were the least of my problems.
I thought my search would terminate in Doha or Riyadh or Amman - instead it turned out that even the Saudis and Qataris who incubated these awful Wahabbi/Salafi doctrines were just proxies of White, Christian/Jewish empire builders in Washington, London, Paris and Tel-Aviv. The "Muslims" were in fact, not involved in the decision making and they were basically powerless. The people who created the ISIS, Boko Haram, Al-Qaida etc were western empire-seekers who wore suits and spoke English, and the purpose of those terror outfits was not to create some "Islamic caliphate" but to seize land and resources for said white men!
And that's when my mental shift happened. The simple realisation that "Muslims" were at best useful idiots in this scheme, and that the REAL enemy were the people I used to hang out with at Bogobiri and the US Consular General's residence. I had that epiphany because I followed that rabbit hole down to the end and found the actual horrible truth. But most of you have no such balls. You are satisfied to just hear and repeat a narrative without ever trying to confirm it for yourself and take action based on that narrative.
This was the same problem I had with the Obidient people. I was ready to go to fucking WAR for what I wanted in 2023, and I lit myself on fire in ways that I am still recovering from. I escaped an international kidnapping attempt, I survived an attempt on my life, I spent months hopping around Nairobi short lets like a homeless person, and I would have done it all again if that was what it took to get that mandate. But most of you that claimed to support the same candidate had no such motivation. Your own was to sit on the internet and type "A new Nigeria is PO-ssible" and "All eyes on the judiciary" to zero fucking effect. And since that didn't work out, half of you have moved to APC, and the other half are still stuck in a 2022 - 2023 time loop, repeating the same tired nonsense that had no effect.
As I said earlier today, you people have no real convictions or beliefs about anything. All you do is make noise for a short while, then you go back to the shallow, stupid things that are actually the centre of your lives like sports betting, visa hunting and talking about relationships. Nothing you people say comes from a place of genuine thought or conviction - you're just a bunch of internet performance artists. Even the "Muslims" you claim are genociding you - if one of them flashes small 100k at you, your entire perspective will shift instantly. You don't believe anything you are saying, which is why I pity that Mossad asset that thinks he's going to instigate a civil war in Nigeria.
He has no idea how useless the people he's trying to instigate really are. Except he will bring mercenaries to fight the war on both sides, nobody is dying for whatever they claim to believe in Nigeria. The most they will do is talk everlasting amounts of shit at each other on the internet, and then switch up completely once they see money, food, or breast. They only came to this world to eat, shit, fuck, sleep, and die in that order. Anyone taking them seriously is just wasting his agency's budget. Even their civil war had to be fought and supported on both sides by foreign powers because they couldn't do it themselves.
I'm only afraid of an invasion.
I'm not afraid of Nigerians at all. Who dey fear mannequin?

The United States of America and Terrorism Are Inseparable
The United States has long been accused of entanglements with groups such as ISIS and Al-Qaeda. This video compiles statements from U.S. and non-U.S. public officials admitting to creating and funding these terror groups. Effectively, this translates to a single conclusion that the dying U.S. empire and terrorism are inseparable.

Selling Intelligence: The Real Agenda Behind the AI Boom
The aggressive push for Generative AI is a calculated move to turn "intelligence" into a product, something people must constantly pay for and depend on. When Sam Altman openly talks about selling intelligence like electricity, it tells you everything you need to know.
Across Africa, this idea is being sold hard to governments, students, creatives, and workers as "the future," even in places still struggling with basic infrastructure.
At the same time, there’s a clear double standard. Tech elites like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg limit their own children's exposure to the very technologies being pushed on everyone else. The Spearhead's Kangmwa Gofwen explains that this contradiction should raise serious questions.

For the record, with the sole exception of Orthodox/Coptic Christianity in Ethiopia, Eritrea and Egypt, pretty much ALL the religion practised in Africa today is a foreign sponsored psy-op.
It is not by accident that all these Evangelical Christian cults, Charismatic movements, prosperity gospel churches and Wahhabi/Salafi Islamic movements that did not exist in 1960 suddenly burst into prominence a decade later and took over the entire continent.
The Christian and New-Age ones were funded and aided by the US State Department, and the Sunni Muslim ones were funded by the Saudis and later the Qataris under the direction of the same US State Department. All of your Jehovah's Witnesses, Church of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), Rosicrucians, Grail Movement, Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mountain of Fire, Winners Chapel International, Christ Embassy, Izala Movement, abbl - they are all ultimately working for the same people, whether you like to hear it or not.
Those "Islamic extremists" that you hate? Both their religious leaders and yours are owned by the same people. Those "Christian infidels" that you look down on? Both your imam and their prosperity preacher clown work for the same people. You are all just a bunch of black Africans whom someone in DC decided to thoroughly and fundamentally mess with on every psychological and spiritual level, for the sole purpose of winning the Cold War. Your religion was never yours - it was just a calculation in somebody's war game.
That's why your Jehovah Witness 'governing body' tells you not to vote, join your military, or involve yourself in politics because war is Satanic and "you are no part of the world," yet the same Jehovah Witness corporate organisation invests and holds shares in weapons manufacturers and defense contractors like Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop Grumman. They tell you not to involve yourself in professional sports or entertainment, and they kick you out for having sex outside marriage, but they hold shares and invest in Walt Disney and TimeWarner, which is a big player in the porn industry. All of this is publicly viewable information from their IRS Form 990:
jwpsa.com/wp-content/upl…
"Your religion/church/movement" that originates in the USA or Saudi Arabia, which somehow migrated into Africa in the 1970s and exploded into mainstream popularity overnight was never "yours", and you know very little about it.
You are just a pawn in someone else's game.

Tinubu Case Mired in Secrecy Amid FBI, DEA Obstruction
Since 2023, investigative journalist David Hundeyin and Plainsite founder Aaron Greenspan have filed a FOIA lawsuit against multiple U.S. agencies, including the FBI and DEA, seeking unredacted files referencing Tinubu and his ties to heroin trafficking networks.
Despite court orders, these agencies have repeatedly withheld or redacted the records, citing privacy exemptions, leaving crucial details obscured from public view. Their refusal to comply with judicial mandates clearly shows a pattern of lawlessness, obstruction, and disregard for transparency; core principles that the United States claims to uphold as part of its democratic values. Yet, in this case, it is evident that when convenient, U.S. agencies can flout these very rules, potentially shielding criminality and undermining the integrity of the legal and democratic process.

The Closure of Showmax and the Quiet Takeover of Africa’s Media Space
A year after acquiring a majority stake in MultiChoice, French media giant Canal+ has announced the closure of Showmax, Africa’s largest homegrown streaming platform, citing financial losses. But this decision goes far beyond corporate restructuring. It raises deeper questions about who controls Africa’s media ecosystem, who shapes the continent’s narratives, and who ultimately profits from them. For nearly a decade, Showmax served as one of the few platforms built primarily around African audiences and African storytelling, creating opportunities for filmmakers, writers, actors, and producers across the continent. Its closure now risks pushing Africa’s digital storytelling space further into dependence on global platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+.
The situation is even more striking when viewed against how fiercely France protects its own cultural space through strict content quotas and investment rules designed to safeguard French storytelling. Yet through media networks tied to billionaire Vincent Bolloré and the wider Vivendi conglomerate, French corporate power is now expanding into Africa’s media landscape, where similar protections for local ownership and cultural control remain weak. At a time when African creatives are finally reclaiming their narratives, surrendering control of the platforms that carry those stories would be a step backwards.
