Online teaching observation number 3. Students respond quite positively to an announcement that I will turn off my camera while they have a discussion. I make it abundantly clear I am still present and listening. #onlinelearning

Online teaching observation number 2: It's easy to hide in Zoom. It takes thoughtful planning to draw out the quiet student, but it is critically important.

Online teaching observation number 1: The student with the least bandwidth and the oldest device must be able to participate fully in your lessons. Cool tech that leaves someone behind doesn’t work for me.
