@chomppadub i think some of the web3 platforms have so much potential to solve this problem. anyone who pre-saves the song gets a verified "pass" that gives them access to something exclusive dictated by the artist (song download, early listen, project file)

there must be an alternative to pre-saving with more of an incentive for the listener from a consumer standpoint, the value of pre-saving is nothing more than saving a step on release day and i feel like it’s not nearly enough to motivate fans to actually go through with it
