After 35 years in law enforcement, I have never witnessed a more troubling abuse of federal authority than what we are seeing now—most starkly in Minneapolis, a women were shot during a so called ICE operation. What was once clearly condemned as excessive force is increasingly treated as routine: agents firing chemical or impact rounds at unarmed civilians, brandishing weapons to intimidate, and disregarding basic due process. This is not disciplined policing, and it is not constitutional enforcement. It is an abuse of power that endangers lives and erodes public trust. The people of Minneapolis—and the country—deserve full transparency, independent investigation, and real accountability for this dangerous descent into lawless enforcement.
