Watched a video about how to lower cholesterol. It said a Niacin supplement is good so I found a high dose pill thinking the more the better (what could go wrong)… “Niacin flush” is what! I’m as red as a lobster and feel like needles are coming out of my entire body!!

Rafters instead of trusses. Because I’m either impatient and can’t wait 8 weeks for trusses or I’m a procrastinator and didn’t order trusses 8 weeks ago. Either way, wife’s happy about the vaulted ceilings and ridge beams.

@theEnkidude @itsadamsikora Doesn’t always pencil (ok hardly do hand calcs anymore).. but I get asked a lot for multi-ply LVLs so they can be lifted easier by 2 people for this reason.

How heavy are these beams I’m trying to lift? They’re 5.5” by 15”, 18 feet long. That’s 10.3 cubic feet of wood. At 35 pounds per cubic foot, that’s 360 pounds for each beam. I had to rent a material lift for two reasons. 1. I’m not @itsadamsikora 2. It’s 12’ off the floor.

@Ada_County You better figure out some other way to get the groomers and their porn books out of there then. There's a lot of sexual focus at that place with kids under 13. It's irresponsible to let it continue. It's a library, perhaps the focus could be placed on reading the classics?

BIG NEWS: The Ada County Commissioners voted to NOT place the Meridian Library Petition on the ballot in November. The Commissioner’s vote was unanimous in not supporting the petitioners request to dissolve the Meridian Library District.

My wife put drinks and snacks on our front porch w/ a note to delivery people to take as they like. Most take something, some say thanks and some get ecstatic. I don’t share this for clout but rather to share that a small gesture can really make someone’s day.
