When you talk decentralisation, you don't put a group of people to decide or approve. You enable the masses to vote.

🚨 Important NDC Budget Update! 🚨 The House of Merit (HoM) proposed and approved its ideal budget for V1 of the NDC that will now be voted on by the Council of Advisors (CoA). Unfortunately, I was unable to vote on it because the voting tool that we're using closes the vote once quorum is met. To be sure my voice is heard as 1/15 members of the HoM, I would have voted "No" on the proposed budget because it did not undergo any internal approval process before being submitted to the CoA, I do not think it accurately represents the needs of the NDC, the HoM has not formalized an internal governance process for how these funds will be distributed if they are approved by the CoA, and I would have liked to get feedback from the greater NEAR community on what should go into it before submission. Additionally, I suggested a different budget that didn't earmark money for unapproved Grassroots DAOs and I made comments to change certain items but my requests were ignored. Here is my suggested budget for the first six months of the NDC (V1) and I would love to hear your thoughts on it! In the scenario the CoA rejects the initial HoM budget, I will officially propose this one as an alternative. Your feedback and engagement is greatly appreciated! When you talk decentralisation, you don't employ a group of people to take decisions. You should rather enable a large group token holders to vote.
