When looking for where you want to play college softball, there is much more to look at than the softball program. Don't get me wrong, it's very important, BUT Do they have your major? Would you enjoy living in that city? What does life outside of softball look like? Much more

You can separate yourself from 50% of the competition just by doing the things many athletes stop doing after a while: Showing up consistently. Working hard even when no one is watching. Doing the extra reps. Taking care of your body. Being coachable. Consistency alone puts you ahead of half the field.

One teammate can change everything. The tone, the standard, the energy, the belief. Be the ONE.

When you say “Ya, but…” you stop learning. Drop the excuses. Listen. Adjust. Improve. Coachability separates good from great.

Hitters with 2 strikes… Just an honest question to think about: Do you think an umpire is more likely to want to punch you out on a borderline strike, or call it a ball? 🤔 Your answer to this should be a huge indication of how you should approach 2 strike counts! Just an FYI, many umps like the spotlight as well, and that’s their best time to shine #BaseballTruth
