Total first world problem, but @Spotify picked a hell of a day to only play one song before stopping and needing to be manually tapped to another song/playlist to keep going. yes, up to date, yes turned it off and on again. Guess it's youtube time or something...

I've been down with a sort of flu type thing since Tuesday this week, knocked me for six...I knew I felt ill when I couldn't even think about coding. Anyway, easing myself back in. I never thought I'd be an advocate for Ultrawide, but now I can't live without it, it gives me a real feeling of freedom. With regards to separating things mentally/visually, I find a good window management tool does the trick, at least for me. I use Lasso on macOS and FancyZones on Windows. That said, for work now I also use a 24" 1920 x 1200 montor in a vertical orientation to one side...super useful for having long pages of documentation open, and everything else like Spotify, Discord, Twitter and other stuff goes over on that display as well. So yeah...make of that what you will 🤷🏽‍♂️

What's a better screen configuration for programming?

I've spent way too long on some of them (although admittedly this is usually trying to add extra features/stretch goals. Actually, it's taken so much time the rest of my studying has taken a back seat, so I'm going to try and just do the bare minimum from now on.

Ok...follow up to #JavaScriptmas Day 3 — after someone pointed out that my scrim was breakable by having two adjacent emojis or shortcodes withotu spaces, I had a serious chat with ChatGPT on the subject of regex's...eventually we came up with something that matches words, short codes separated by spaces, short codes with no spaces, and also emoji's with/without spaces → scrimba.com/s07gumqfdu/head see if you can break it!
