This week marked the end of my university journey. Thank you to @uniofbrighton and to all these wonderful people who made the experience one I will never forget.
Now on to bigger & better things 🎓🩺

Great day at @uniofbrighton Virtual IPE conference. Some brilliant talks & real life service users’ experiences of their conditions. Learnt some really interesting facts around HIV, facial paralysis & Car T cell therapy, thanks to the organisers & those who shared their stories!!

@jraicevicphysio @TheHorderCentre That is so lovely and just shows what a difference you made! Well done and congrats on completing your final placement! 👏

One of my patients today gave me a bunch of flowers to say thank you for all my help on the last day of my final EVER student placement💐also a big thank you to @TheHorderCentre for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your amazing MSK team!!
English

@LimbSimpson That’s really great advice, thank you! I’ll be sure to continue reading etc outside of placement hours!

@jraicevicphysio Learn the subjective like your learning lines from a play. Be brave and ask open chain questions where possible. Give the pt time to respond. I often say ‘ Tell me a bit more about that...’ this encourages the person to expand and signals that what they are saying is meaningful.
English

@jraicevicphysio Treat each pt like you're doing a case study, read and research for each one
English

@jraicevicphysio The subjective is almost everything. Care and listen to your patient. Remember it is about meeting their goals, not yours. Yours come when they leave happy.
English

@jraicevicphysio Don’t over complicate it, know your red flags then just treat what you see 😊
