@dbrauer I was reading when I entered kgn too. Whole language immersion worked for me. But surrounding my kid with books and rich language did nothing for her. She needed the nuts and bolts of phonics to decode words.

@tabularasadiem @RossRaihala FWIW the show was sold out at First Ave (capacity 1500) before it was moved to 2 nights at the Varsity (capacity 600).

A whole bunch of people who'd never heard of The First Ave Theater until a few hours ago are never, ever going there again.
